The kit
Chelsea shifted to royal blue in the 1960s and have stayed there, using collar shape, trim and fabric texture to mark each season. The club's success since the mid 2000s has made kits from that period widely available, while shirts from the 70s and 80s are considerably harder to find.

The shirt front has carried technology, telecoms and airline brands. Several Chelsea sponsor wordmarks from the 90s are now strongly associated with specific squads.
